SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA

This is my photo-album on Santa Barbara, California. 

One of the most beautiful cities in California, Santa Barbara is a mere two-hour drive from Los Angeles. Santa Barbara is sometimes referred to as the American Riviera. Her beautiful beaches, majestic mountains, and colorful culture make Santa Barbara a premier resort destination. From the city, one is minutes away from the Santa Barbara Wine Country. And less than an hour away from the gorgeous Santa Ynez Valley, with its breath-taking vistas, is home to such notable attractions as Solvang and the Chumash Indian Reservation.

Santa Barbara's harbor is home to the world-famous Stearns Wharf, a great destination for a weekend getaway. Its golden beaches are wide and clean, lined up by majestic palm trees along a curving bay. The Santa Barbara Mission, one of the most popular of all the California Spanish Missions, was founded by Fr. Junipero Sera when California was still a part of the Spanish Empire in the New World and later the Republic of Mexico.
