This is my electronic photo album on one of my favorite places to visit,the picturesque town of Solvang, California. Solvang is an authentic Danish settlement, founded in 1911 by Danish educators. This very popular vacation destination is where the heritage, faces and customs of the Old World live on. Located at the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley, it is surrounded by the charming communities of Santa Ynez, Ballard, Los Olivos and Buellton.
Internationally recognized for its Old World architecture, unique boutiques, award-winning restaurants and historic museums, as well as easy access to Santa Barbara Wine Country and beaches, Solvang is the perfect getaway to explore, shop, dine and getaway.
Solvang remains one of the most popular tourist destinations in California.
